By the filming of this video, I’d already passed the flight exam, so all I needed was a bit of hood time (the footage was boring), and a couple of hours of solo cross-country (this). My 360 cam died shortly after liftoff, so here’s a time lapse of the entire flight, until I was about to turn base at the end (because the GoPro battery died). …also, fly like I say, not like I fly.

After four straight days of prep flights, do I pass my PPL checkride? (Either way, and in spite of what I said in the video, there were still other things I had to finish before actually getting my PPL…)

Did some circuits on a windy day. It was a whole thing.

This video’s short because most of my flight audio was messed up. (You’re welcome?) Anyway, I go under the hood (technically: sticker), to get the instrument time I need for my (hopefully) forthcoming PPL!

Flew myself from Kamloops (CYKA) to Merritt (CAD5), and back, and didn’t even die once! (And will Cocoa ever like flying? Stay tuned…)

This month, I try to get my Recreational Pilot Permit. Do I succeed? Do I fail? Will I be able to afford to get the Private Pilot Licence one day? These questions (and more) may or may not be answered!!!
