Oh, sure, the clouds were patchy, and there was lots of traffic, and I didn’t get the five landings I wanted, and two of my four landings weren’t great……………… sorry, I forgot where I was going with all this.

I fly back from Vernon (CYVK) after a lovely lunch at the Sky High Diner, passing over a lovely part of BC (which you should totally visit, because it’s lovely).

I flew to Vernon (CYVK) to check out the airport diner. Had trouble getting to the airport diner… Anyway, I flew over some geese, some smoke, and some lovely terrain, and flew near a couple of other YouTubers! This video was filmed in July of 2023, while the Ross Moore Lake fire was burning about 25km south of Kamloops. Also, the winds in the air were significantly faster than the winds on the ground. Also also, I’m glad I practiced my landings…

My friend Britta just graduated from nursing school, so we went to fly around Dunn Peak to celebrate!
