In this video, I fly home after my first (quite yummy) $100 hamburger! (And if I were to describe the wildfires, I would probably use the word “wild,” and probably use it repeatedly.)

This video was filmed in July of 2023, while the Ross Moore Lake fire was burning about 25km south of Kamloops. Also, the winds in the air were significantly faster than the winds on the ground. Also also, I’m glad I practiced my landings…

My friend Britta just graduated from nursing school, so we went to fly around Dunn Peak to celebrate!

Had to do five take-offs and landings at night to keep being able to carry passengers at night. Sure, it’s nearly impossible to see anything, but meh, you get what you pay for.
